Top O’ the mornin’ to ya! We are officially in the month of March! I’ve referred to the past couple weeks as “Fool’s Spring”. Fitting not only because St. Patrick’s Day is coming up, but because the weather starts to warm up, the snow begins to melt, and you can feel the buzz of excitement of the promise of the coming Summer– only to have those hopes crushed as “Third Winter” hits us with another couple feet of snow and freezing temps. Welcome to Northern Idaho, amiright?

St. Patrick’s Day Cruise
While it may not be the Caribbean, you can still enjoy a St. Patrick’s Day Cruise on beautiful Lake Coeur d’Alene! Enjoy a festive, Irish-themed dinner and take in the breathtaking scenery as you cruise Lake CDA. Perhaps you might even spot a leprechaun! Grab your tickets here!
O’Sherman’s Gold Quest–
It’s a well known fact that Bigfoot is great at hiding here in the PNW, but you know what’s just as elusive? Leprechauns!
Join in on the hunt for O’Sherman the Leprechaun in participating shops downtown! And if you manage to find him, perhaps he will lead you to his pot o’ gold! More info here!
18th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade–
Hey, you wanna know what the best month for a parade is? “MARCH!”
While there may still be snow on the ground, downtown CDA doesn’t let that get in the way of the festivities. For the past 17 years, Downtown CDA has hosted a parade and they are carrying on the tradition again this year making it the 18th Annual St. Patrick’s Day parade! Rain or shine, bring your kiddos and friends and enjoy the festive floats. This year’s theme is shamrocks and shenanigans! Learn more here!
Coeur d’Irish Party @ The Resort
And after the parade, the resort throws a party! But be sure to get your tickets for Coeur d’Irish now before they sell out!
This Irish-themed party hosted by the CDA will have bagpipes, dancers, and food! They will be serving Irish whiskey and GREEN beer. And to top it off, there will be a raffle with a chance to win an Ireland Adventure! All funds will go to the CDA Rotary Club which helps out the community and works on projects to improve Coeur d’Alene. Get your tickets here!
