There is a little Coffee Shop in downtown Coeur d Alene called Java. Java is located on 4th and Sherman Ave, just a few blocks from the CDA Resort. Java is a destination for travelers and local residents alike. Aside from its rugged atmosphere full of long hair dreaded hippies (not to be confused with long “dreaded” hair hippies…wait, which one is which? We mean the non-offensive one.) and raggae music, Java has a secret formula. Secret formula you ask? Yes, secret formula. The secret formula, that people travel all over the world to partake in is THE BOWL OF SOUL. This drink will leave your tummy feeling warm, and your taste buds satisfied. The bowl of soul, which is especially good on cold winter nights, is comprised of coffee, mexican chocolate, and a few other cool ingredients and spices. In fact, if you tell them that the Bowl of Soul is for “here”, they will even serve it to you in a bowl.
Java also has a tasty breakfast and lunch menu and cool art on the bathroom walls. Half the time, you will even be greeted with a friendly face ( at the counter, hopefully not in the bathroom ).
